These are some of the thoughts
you've shared with us since 9/11.
Unfortunately, a few people have hacked into
the site and left offensive messages so we can no longer allow people to post.
But the ones already written mean a
lot to all of us and we thank you.

We had the planes, do we now have the trains? Yesterday in Spain the hand of death struck once again, and many are dead, and yet again many physically, and mentally damaged for life. We do not know yet who did this deed, but it shows us how right it was for the free nations of the world to declare war on all that fight for the peacful innocent people of our world. Yes, we look to our leaders who have shown that brave face, in spite of the doubting people that have put their faces behind that "Dont want to know" screen. Now even you are not safe. The nations of the world must draw together and hunt down these cowardly people, and rid the world of this evil. We all walk in the shadow of evil, this we must stamp out. We pray for the family's of the dead, and those who at this very moment, are fighting to save those damaged people who lay on their beds of pain. It is so sad.

Thankyou so much for making this site. Don't ever let the American people forget. My first time back in the States since 9/11 was November '03, so much has changed, but people are already forgetting why we're in Iraq and Afghanistan. George W Bush has done everything he said he would do to protect our country. The Taliban is history, Saddam crawled out of a hole, the economy is on the upswing, Libya has "seen the light", and Iraq is soon to be a country freed from a tyranical dictator after 35 years.
And all the Democrats can screech is, "This president is a miserable failure"??????
Give me a break.
God bless George W Bush!
He makes these shrill, loser, Democrat wannabes look pathetic.

Right on! Its so funny how something so good for our country like capturing sadaam, a rising market, or just happiness could be such a bad thing for Howard Dean and his boys. I dont consider myself a republican or a demacrat but I tell you what, these democrats are sickning people. Bush cares so much about this country and you guys just want to lynch him. How bout you come together with the real americans and support him. You liberals do nothing but hold up peace signs, put flowers in eachothers hair, and chant for peace. You dont know what peace is. War makes peace you fuckin morons.

I am very moved by your site. And especially for the photos- that's what led me here. As I read people's comments I have to say that I in no way condone any terrorist acts or thoughts or culture; but in saying that I also want to say that we are into alot of things that we are not welcome, and if you want to talk about terrorism lets also look at our central america policy in the 80s...I whole heartedly support whatever mission our troops are on but also want to remind the public that 2/3s of the world aren't christian and we must make sure we are not putting our sensibilities on everyone else-is that freedom? I support and honor everyone who has been touched by this struggle or has died. I just want to make sure it is not in vane; people have a right to protest and not be considered un-american; even in times of war...

As we approach the 2 year anniversary of 9-11, we must understand that the war in Iraq is really a continuation of the greater war against all terrorism. They are all regrouping in Iraq and want us to fail for if we win, they are doomed. I'd rather fight them in Iraq than in my backyard of NYC. I support G W Bush 100% and hope that the American people have not forgotten what brought us to this place. The terrorists, no matter what their stipe, want us all dead. They have that in common and always have had. Stay strong, America, and pray for our leaders and their courage to see this through.

We must never forget. What happened to us on 9-11 could happen again. President Bush and his cabinet are doing everything they can to protect us, as are our troops all over the world. Touching page. Especially the pic with the firefighter being comforted by the angel. I was out of town that Day. I'll never forget the anger, the fear and the loneliness I felt on Sept. 11th. Fear for the well-being of friends and family in the financial district. Loneliness because I was far from home in an unfamiliar place. I'll never forget the serenity of the Floridian sky and wondering how any human could do such a thing. No one deserves to Die. Bless us all for our hearts are still heavy with grief and uncertainty.

We need to support our troops and our president with all the patriotism and courage we can muster. America and her allies are fighting one of the most brutal regimes in history so that the Iraqi people can be free of this thug and his murdering gang and the world can be a safer place. Anybody that thinks we are in this for oil or to occupy Iraq is simply uninformed. We don't conquer lands; we defend and liberate and ask only for enough land to bury our dead at the end of the battle. All those protesting around the world, as well as their leaders, are doing so because they are up to their armpits in oil deals and other lucrative business arrangements with Saddam Insane. The hypocrisy is choking. Go Bless the USA, Britain, Spain, italy, Australia, and the rest for having the courage to die for what they believe in and for the freedom of all people.

We are underway in Iraq. Many people doubt wether we should attack Saddam's regime. Protesters worldwide, the French, Germans, Russians, Chinese all are against us. They say we can't go in without the UN approval.
But we need to remind ourselves what the USA stands for.
Like our President said on September 11:
"we're the brightest beacon for freedom and opportunity in the world"
Freedom is our believe. And we begon to give freedom to the Iraqi people. No one can stop us from freeing a people who are living under tyranny for decades, not Saddam's evil regime, not the UN, not France, Germany, Russia or China.
Even if we have to free the world alone, we will do it. That is the spirit of America, the beacon of freedom. And no one can keep that light from shining!
"Were my soul trembling on the verge of eternity, my hand freezing in death, I would still implore you to remember this truth: God has given America to be free"

I can never forget how I felt when I saw the towers fall.I felt as if my world turned upside down on that day.And it still is not right. We are on alert now for the rest of our lives, because we never know where the next attack will come from.I will live my life but will be watching everyone around me.We are at war now and for the same reason.I am an American, very proud of our President and Tony Blair, for standing up to what they believed in,regardless of the negative results from the world. It makes me angry to see the protesters burning the American flag, sure,it is their right, but it is showing all that see it,what they think of the country they live in.If they don`t like our President, leave.I am sure they could go over to France and live the way they want to.My son was in Desert Storm and I was so thankful that he returned home to us,some of his friends did`nt make it,so I will be praying for all of our brave troops to return back home.We are Americans, strong and proud and we are human, filled with compassion and honor. We are Americans.

Dear friends, we are at war, and the first of our troops have passed to our Father, may I at this time give thanks to all who at this time go to face the enemy. I live close to the B52 air base and a short while ago those aircraft took to the sky.We go with them and pray that all will be well. The cost of war is always paid in blood, we must be ready to accept that fact, it is a kill or be killed condition. We in the free world did not want this war, and I for one would only consider going with the UNs blessing. I am so sad that we were not able to go down that path. Now is the time to look forward to the overthrough of the mad man, and the freedom of the people of Iraq. At the start of all the talk about Iraq I was sure that your President was out for the oil. I ask the friends I have made through this wonderful Trish site to foregive me. Now I have to say what a team we have in your President and our Prime Minister. Not realy the "A" team but the Thinkers and Doing team. I am going to say that our Tony is todays Mr Churchill. He tells it just as it is, thank God. Now to draw to one side I request that should you read these few words then take a little while to request to your God that his hand be on all in this conflict on both sides because we are all Gods children. The enemy is not the people but the dimented followers of Saddam. As brothers at arms I give you my love,
God bless you and may his hand of love for ever be upon you.

This is a great reminder to the world that we need to still be standing together in the difficult days ahead. Instead of the bickering that we have going on. Some of us have lost face of it. and now we need to find it again and stand behind our president. He has made the only choices that could be made. It is not the idea of paying back it is the idea of making sure this never happens again. It is very hard to put our soldiers in war. Knowing that lives will be lost. But they have chose this. The people that died in the September 11, 2001 Didn't choose this. Lets not lose face. The problems want just go away. It is really hard to know that we are having such a problem with the president trying to do his job. This was why I think he is doing a good Job. People that should be right beside him in the demacrat party. That is putting him down for the way he is handling things. Don't make that mistake . Because in the future you will run, and there will be a lot of people just like me. Demacrats lost total face in the election are now just totally ruining what is left of the party. I like others like to know I have a choice but I also like to know that the person I am putting in office is going to protect the innocent that is in this country. It is not all about money if you still have terrorist destroying as you pit things together. Think about what one September 11, 2001 costed. Put enough of them together you will have the cost of this war. Please stand behind your president. Don't lose the rest of the demacrat party. The party will be extinct if it continues.

I cry the tears (in memory of 9-11)
I cry the tears so many others do, in my heart so many memories of you. A light, a life snuffed out way too soon before it bloomed. Lord why do the good leave so soon.
Let's roll he said, we're gonna fight for our lives. At least we can leave behind a legacy for the right, for our children, our wives, our families and friends. Love never dies, it'll always be here. Now don't you cry no tears of remorse. You should only cry tears of joy. And heaven will rejoice and sing cause some brand new angels have got their wings. Now they're not gone cause the love is still here. And paradise embrace the matry's fate. Love is eternal, don't lose faith. God has welcomed them through heaven's gate.

No Title
You may hate our mobility, riches and freedoms ...
You are the vandel, barbarian and savage.
We are many, different and the common masses with
dreams, hopes and fears ...
You may never understand:
Devotion .. OUR Faith in GOD,
Devoted .. A Belief and to Each Other,
Devote .. For there is this Promise ...
For You can never have OUR SOUL.

The Aftermath – September 11, 2001
Love endures and Hate churns.
Children scream while Fires burn.
Freedom is lost and Justice Aches
Over 3000 Perish while a Nation shakes.
Survivors weep and the president Despairs
But families unite while War is declared.
A giant awakes and Courage is found.
Troops mobilize while Bombs hit the ground.
The world watches and the enemy Hides
Peace is lost while Strength provides.
Tyrants are evicted and Warlords disjointed.
A nation starts over while a King is anointed.
Soldiers fight Bravely and Victories are Won.
Battles complete but the War is not done.
Evil is the Enemy and Hate is his Knife
Victory is Futile after a Family losses a Life.
Wives without Husbands and Fathers without Sons.
Daughters without Mothers, in the name of God this was Done?
Only Love will prevail while Evil is stripped of his Hate.
Only Understanding will let our Pain Terminate.
We must not become that which we Despise
But we must not forget those who Lost Loved Lives
If we fail to execute our war against Terror.
Then we fail to protect our Freedom to Love Altogether
Brave men and women who wear a patch on their arm…
Love just as much as those who were harmed.
That is why we must continue to go wherever Evil hides…
For the sake of the Children who have Not Yet Lost Their Lives.
The Enemy is Evil and he knows not what is Right
A Nation seeks Justice but Sleeps without it this Night.
The Enemy is Evil and he Cares not for your Life.
That is why we must Find him … and Stab him… with his very own Knife.
Mourn our Loved... Mourn our Cherished... but take Evil to Task.
So “Lets Roll” to Baghdad and Kick his Evil ASS…
Find Sadaam.. Find Bin Laden.. Rob Evil of Life.
Find Justice.. Find Vengeance... Then Banish Evil’s Knife.

I did not know a single person who was killed on that
horrific day, and I can not relate to any one who did. The
only thing I can say is that each day I feel pain knowing
that people have suffered, whether it be emotional, physical,
mental or spiritual lose. I have lost only a few in my
25 years and it has been horrible, but to lose someone in
the way these people have lost I could never imagine.
I pray God will bless you and keep you. September the 11th
is coming fast again and it seems as though it was yesterday.
I know the pain is still real and new and we may not recover
for a very long time. Our lives have been changed forever.
Let us not forget to love each other and show that love
as we are not promised tomorrow. We have had proof of that
with or huge tragedy.

The events of 9/11 will never leave the consciousness of freedom loving Americans. I too prepared a tribute that I would like to share. It is called "Our Flag". I have copied it below, but I am willing to send a graphic copy to anyone who would like a copy. I can only send by e-mail as an attachment. I can send signed copies if accompanied by a Self-Address Stamped Envelope. This is free of charge.
Our Flag
by Neal T. Lesh

Through dust hazed light from overhead
The wind snaps up above
while eyes all turn and look upon
The flag that we all love.
Who put it there for all to see?
Where on earth did it come from?
A Newsman ask of everyone,
And yet their lips stay mum.
A Fireman resting on one knee,
His eyes still show his grief,
Spoke softly to the gathering crowd
Who stared in disbelief.
“The flag belongs to those who died,
It flew just over there.
My brothers saw it in their hearts
To put it back up here.”
An eerie silence filed the air
and tears began to fall
As giant men were left to cry
In reverence of it all.
Our flag still flies so gallantly
Above this horrid sight
Reminding free Americans
To believe in what is right
This flag we take so casually,
Was born of noble goals
Of liberating common men
And freedom loving souls
So don’t despair my countrymen,
Don’t let your spirit fall
For what was done to those poor souls
Was meant to hurt us all.
As long as our flag flies above
The world can always tell
Americans will fight for good
while our enemies burn in Hell.

Yesterday I worked on the Psych wing of the jail I work at, it I a very hard place to work sometimes and it is easy to feel down on the job, but then I looked on the post and up on a rafter where I saw two flags that I put up on September 12th last year and saw that they were as pristeen as the day I put them up... I was reminded of everything the victims of 9-11 lost that day... and it made my difficult day seem easy. I will never forget! Please feel free to visit my tribute site at: http://mcgloughlin.homestead.com/mcgpage.html

I hope that when people think about going after Iraq that they think about how many of our Military will be put in harms way. I am a very proud Army wife, and I stand behind my husband and our country, but I am in no hurry to send him off to a war that could result in thousands of Military deaths. I agree something has to be done, but please don't be too hasty about this. What happend to America on September 11, was and is tragic. It will not go unresolved. But think about what all can and will happen if Bush decides to go against Saddam. We will win, I have faith in that. But how many men and women of our Armed Forces will die? Does anyone care about that? Just something to think about. Please remember our Military in your prayers. God Bless America and our Armed Forces.

What an awesome site yo have created in memory of September 11th, Bin Laden did for us what we couldn't keep from slipping through our fingers.....our unity....he united America in a way no other could, by attacking what we hold dear....our freedom....our honor....our country. What a beautiful sight to see, our nation pulling together, our hearts uniting to lend a hand in any way we could. We are an awesome nation, and no one, not anyone can take that from us.

Saddam has to go nomatter what. no american or canadian can say how it feels to have sadddam for a president. they dont know how it feels to live in a country where u have no rights. no right to speak ur language or listen to ur music.its his way or noway. well u see i know how it feels because i am from north of iraq called kurdistan. saddam gassed kurdish people like we were rats in a pit. he sprayed chemicals on one of the towns by a plane. 5000 people died in last than 4 min including plants and animals. there was no sign of life form left in that town. and 7000 wounded by the chemicals. when i say wounded i mean they went blind. mute, cancer, disabled for life. brain damage. u see when i saw the 9/11 attach i wasnt scared i just felt sad. i wasnt scared because i have seen worse. u see during the gulf war bush told iraq that their allowed to use their figher jets and helicopturs. with that said saddam used those weapons to come after us and destroy us with chemicals and biological weapons. more than 10 000 people died because of bushed decision. and twice more than than fled to borders of turkey and iran and i was amoung them. i was only 8 back than now i am 20. i still remember walking from mountain to mountaion cave to cave. i was a little girl who was scared out of her mind. i saw people die in front of me. i saw them being blown into peices. walking for 2 days and 2 nights to turkish border with no food. 17 of my relatives were baried alive by iraqi soldiers. some were only 16 and all of them were brothers and uncles and cousins. saddam has to go because i know how it feels to have him in power. u dont know how it feels to go to bed knowing that u might not wake up in the morning because u might be gassed to sleep
but i hope this time the kurds will not be used and abused by bush.
we have tasted destruction and terror, now let as taste some freedom for once in are life. get rid of him. give us a land to call are own. a place to call home, a place to belong to.
get rid of saddam do it for the victims of 9/11 and the babies and kids that were gassed in kurdistan.kids who were playing outside when they were sprayed with chemicals. how can u fight something when u cant see it or smell it. u only know its white poweder.
maybe someday when they capture saddam i hope they use the same chemicals he used on us. so he knows how it feels to be choked to death. so he knows how it feels to be burned and have ur eyes pop right out of ur head. to turn blue and die in last than a min.
i live in a beautiful country called canada. who stand for freedom, peace and justice. a country thats part of the solution and not the problem. a country thats for peacekeeping and not war making. i am so glad to be rep by the maple leaf flag. we never see any middle east burning canadian flags but we see them burning american flags. u see america thinks if they put sanctions on iraq it will stop saddam from developing weapons. but they got all wrong. saddam doesnt go to bed with an emty stomach but its those babies who go to bed with an eamty stomach because they dont have enough milk to drink. there has to be another way to get rid of him without killing innocent people. he is evil and a madman. but just because one person choices the wrong path for them selves doesnt mean u should too. saddam had a country that was rich and full of oil but he didnt know how to use it. he was too busy buying his baby waepons to use on his own people. saddam has 21 palaces he doesnt care if their are sanctions or not since he doesnt give a damn about his people. he is addicted to weapons. aslong as he has his weapons he is happy.
bye.

Even though many people were not in NYC to experience the terrible tradegy that struck the US on 9-11, we all felt the pain and fear. The whole country was in shock but we still stood as a nation and didn't break down into chaos. We defend ourselves as we did when Pearl Harbor was attacked. And as the Japanesse said when they bombed Pearl Harbor," All we have done is awakend a sleeping giant", the same is true for the 9-11 attacks. As we defend ourselves now from terrorism, we are protecting our nation. We will get the man who created the terrible acts that was bestowed upon us. GOD BLESS THE USA and watch over our troops as they fight for us American's.

I'm glad that this site keeps "Our Beloved" in mind because people seem to have "pushed" them aside! (I use the term "Our Beloved" instead of victims) I, too have created a web-site that I hope will endure long after I'm gone! It is called One For One For All. It's concept is very simple. It is a Memorial Sympathy Card for those who lost someone in the attack on America. Like most web-sites, there is a guestbook for everyone to sign with the goal of getting at least one signature for every life lost on September 11, 2001. After all have been accounted for, it will be put into an album and given to each family and/or loved one who must carry this grief in their broken hearts for the rest of their life! For those who do not wish to leave their name, they can simply leave a few words of sympathy or condolences instead. I have dedicated this web-site in memory of my son Danny who took his life fifteen minutes after I told him that I was to busy to talk to him. Danny took a shotgun, put it to his head, and pulled the trigger. Danny was seventeen years old!
Keep up the good work!

Yes. we should. it's now time for others to understand that even if they don't like us. Even if in their demented eyes we're the devil. Even if they don't respects our right to live just as much as they too have the right. They have to learn that even if their own government couldn't care less abouts it's people. America will NOT be threatened. America will not sit idly by while it's citizens are hurt and killed. We will not stand by and let them make more of our children orphans. We will stand by and let them take husbands and wives from families. We will fight back and we will use everything in our possesion to make sure that those who screw with us with pay with blood. If you threaten our children's safty, in turn, we will destroy you. We are America and we are strong. and we will not let anyone screw with us anymore

I believe that once we do what we need to do with bin Laden and his network of murdering, filthy garbage, Iraq will be next on the list - but it will be handled in a different manner than what we've been seeing. Once concrete proof arises that Hussein had something to do with 9/11, all hell will break loose on Iraq. It's been a long time in coming. To all those nay-sayers who thought our President was some kind of joke - I can honestly say I've never been more proud of any prt;kuaimataz@cantv.net>

I don't know what we should do about Iraq. I do know that Saddom is a madman and threatens the region. But, I think we'll have to make a pretty good case for attacking Iraq to the American people. The coalition will probably fade away but, nothing new there. I pray for President Bush. He has an awful lot on his plate right now and he's doing a fantastic job. I will vote for him next time. I have been very impressed.

We have to go into Iraq. If we don't, we will regret it. Even if we lose some support from the coalition, it's important that we remember that sometimes, these other countries really do want us to rid the world of terrorism but cannot always say so, publicly.
Bruce

Absolutely! I know that a lot of people feel we need to make a case against Saddam Hussein (sp.?) but I think the case has already been made. He is a mad man who gassed his own people and has had direct contact with bin Laden's group. He needs to go!
